Brf is doing the final touches and issuing the ribbons.
A little QC is all that's left.
I simply must brag on him for a moment.
At LS, he drew the ribbons and painstakingly cobbled together every last ribbon bar for every member. We had literaly scores of leftover ribbon bars in storage generated every time someone got a new ribbon.
This time, Brf hacked the profile page and inserted new categories. Then he assigned markers for all the ribbons and tied them dynamically to the categories.
Now when a member rates a new ribbon, all that has to be done is enter the letter code in the categories next to the old ones and the site automatically updates your ribbon bar!
I could update a member ribbon bar now in 30 seconds.
You will not begin to imagine how many beer drinking hours that Brf has saved himself. 
Anyway, I'll be getting the hall of heroes going this weekend so everyone can know what the ribbons mean.

I was just looking in the Hall of Heroes to see what all the ribbons actually mean, and which ones are (or have been) in use, but it seems that the thread about them hasn't been updated for a while. I'm still curious though, so if you ever find some time..

the requirements are in the thread in the hall of heroes board. you'll get one after the TWG game I think (I think there's a game participation one) and then a catledoom member ribbon when you reach groomer. some of them are unobtainable, ( thecore member ribbon and the small ones below the main bar), but those were either membership ribbions or only for those who are known for ages, and from other sites. the Core member ribbion was only issued in the first month I thnk and quite a few people here haven't got it ( I'm one of those who didn't get it, mainly as i was new to this crowd, plus I came after the first month).

unfortunateky, they wll never be awarded again. it's that castledoom doesn't need to attratc members just from various places, ti was a carry over from the last site, los solatos, I think, and Junta just blindly followed the tradition.

You make it sound like we slapped this place up in 20 minutes without a thought. 
Have you noted that this "simple" forum has its own domain and not one of those freebee forums? Have you noted all the features you never find on other forums? Everything done here was done with top notch ingredients, superior craftsmanship on Brf's part, and intense deliberations by staffers and most senior members.
We put up the ribbons because we wanted them. We modified the awarding of them because we were getting ribbon heavy. Both acts tooks months of discussion and effort.

Plays? Or dominated a couple of servers for a few years before getting bored?
I only fit into one of those catagories, so it depends on your criteria

ok, I didn't mean to seem rude, I was indeed going on what you ahd said before. the membership ribbion was a carry-over from LS, that was basically what I meant. and I should know thtya took longer than that, having joined while it was almots still a 'work in progress' (the guild wasn't finished then)
