How long have we had the green clock? It wasn't there this morning, and I didn't notice it a few minutes before this screen shot was taken, but suddenly, there it was... in all it's weird greenness...

No, the hide button hides you, you suddenly turn invisible to most, but to mods your little indicator says "Hidden" and your name goes into Italics in any "who's here" list.
