I got the following email, supposedly from JJ. The return address was what I have for him, and the paths seemed correct. I'm sure we're all smart enough to know when an email isn't from who we think it is, but just in case... If you got it, don't click on the link. Don't click the link here, I edited it, anyhow.

yeah, I saw a note in my inbox today about an undelivered mail.

looks like spam was sent.

not sure how since I don't have mail software on my pc. i have yahoo and gmail, but they are offsite stuff.

i need to contact yahoo/at&t tomorrow about this. too late tonight since they would only route me to india for tech support.

just don't go clicking email links until i sort this out.

I am guessing that JJ clicked a similar link. The link leads to a "Pharmacy Spam" sender.

dunno really

it was sent at a time my pc was off and it was done from my yahoo/at&t mail, not from pc mail program, like outlook. i don't even use a pc based mail software program. just at&t and gmail, which are both web based.

i'm not an email link clicker by nature either. i'm running AVG all the time too. how someone got my pw and email is a bit mystifying, unless they hacked it from a site i visit.

admittedly, i don't use lots of pw's because that's a real pain in the ass to remember. I stick to just a few and build derivatives of those when necessary.

anyway, they didn't go crazy with a ton of spam and i changed my at&t pw today.

we'll see how it goes i guess.
