What is the point of this system, really?

Seeing is how it's here to stay. I'll have to ask for a bank and maybe a stock system. Player companies too. :mrgreen:

if you have player comanies, they would need a source of revenue.

That's what the stores are for. But seeing how everything they offer is intangible it is hard to convince people they should be buying anything.

And the currency is clearly fiat currency, which is very susceptable to inflation. I could theoretically win a few million JJ$ in the casino and then buy everything in all the stores, giving lots of money to the shopkeeps who will in turn spend it. This large amount of currency will foster inflation and if a stock market is present, crash it.

Although it probably be sunk into the Casino, making it disappear just as easily as it came. But it does present a probelm.

that's exactly it. unless there is more stuff like the change namew styles, I can't see how people will buy stuff. that'swhy I bought a change name styles for the shop, it's the most likely to be bought.
