| There is a new Mod in place for awarding points for posting. It is in experimental stage right now. |

| I've been hoping to see something like this. how is the money calculated?letters per post? flat rate per post? ( letters per post encourages longer posts, flat rate encourages spam) and I agree, a money mod is away to accomodate a lot more mods ( at one forumI was a member of, the staff were given a 'salary' of virtual money. yes,I was a member of staff. a moderator, I think. it collapsed due to other's disinterest.) an |

The awards are both by-post and by-letter. The author of a thread also gains a bonus if someone replies in his thread.
To avoid spamming, you only get cash for the first 20 posts each day.
We can also give different posting awards for each user-group or user-rank.
There is a way to pay salaries or allowances....

| user-rank differences would work, although I think user-groups would work better. maybe, winners of TWG get TWG points, and guild group get extra JJ points for each post and letter or something might be an idea for waysto getpoints (it would make TWG more popular!) |

| I like this idea very much, especially with rewards for longer and more meaningful posts. |

 Would it be feasible that the we have an "entry fee" for TWG? Each GM would set the entry fee, but plain games or those with limited roles should be cheaper than the more complex. You have to convert your JJbux to TWGbux, so you would need to earn JJbux by activity on the rest of the forum.
In my fantasy, players would get one TWGbuck per day with a post either in the daily voting thread or in the dead zone. This is to prevent penalizing the poor schlubs who are offed or lynched first thing. On second thought, the live players can only get a buck for the voting posts, someone logging in early and just saying "eeew, gross, I need to think about this" then not voting (for whatever reason) won't get the activity buck.
At the end of the game, the pot of the entry fees is divided in half, with the alive winners splitting half, then the other half is split among all of the winning team, either humans or vampires or wolves... Obviously, monster wins would have higher payouts/person than villager wins. But, hey.
Someone who implodes would lose their entry fee, any earned activity bux, and would be ineligible for sharing in the pot. Their entry fee is still in the pot.
Yes, this would add to the GM's responsibilities. S/he would have to keep track of who was active each day.
And, yes, Brf, I kept saying "Ladderbux".
This is a jumping off idea, I'm not married to the details. |

| Yeah. We could award points for playing... Maybe in addition to the ones for posting. |

| You get JJbucks for posting in the other forums. You can exchange those for TWG-Bucks |

| I know, what if the person doesn't wanna post in there though? Though if the fees to play the game is fairly reasonable, 10-15 twg bucks, the persons intro post in TWG and a few other post are more than enough to get it, so it may not mean anything. |

Having the entry fee would mean that anyone wanting to play would have to make some posts in the other parts of the forum, yes, or spend time talking about the game in the dungeon. There are all kinds of threads, surely a person could find SOMETHING other than the game to post about.
Perhaps on sign up have an automatic donation, a signing bonus. Then, someone could play in the first game, this allows for someone who joined just shortly before the game started. If they win and participated, they'd have more. If they lost, well, one would hope that they learned enough about the rest of us to want to chit-chat.
If all someone wants is to play the game, they'd only be taking, they wouldn't be giving to the community. |

I'd like to see a V-Bookie. We can do anything from sporting events to oscars to international incidents.
Maybe forum contests like photo contests, writing competitions, photo shop this, things like that.
Just a couple ideas, which I think are cool. |

I put 'other'
Let me explain:
On another forum, we get cash when we post, but it is redeemable at the site store. We buy whatever and it is placed under our avatar
Think of it, you can control a whole hoard of Castle Doom zombies and the beer snuggie of infinte coldness (or whatever it was) |
