My sister got this for her birthday yesterday and she was bummed out because she wasnt able to play it last night. Shes still not home, so I gave it a whirl
Before I tell you how it is, I'll tell you what it is. Its made by Harmonix, the good people that brought us Frequency and Amplitude which were rhythm based games where you had to hit the PS2 shoulder buttons in time with the game. Its sorta like Dance Dance if you will. This games hook is that it comes with a 3/4 size guitar that you use to finger the correct notes and strum at the same time
The game itself is a blast. Its really fun to play and incredibly hard. There are 4 settings: Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. I played easy in the store, thought it was too easy, so when I tried it today on medium, I got my butt repeatedly kicked by Queens of the Stone Age and Incubus
The games music isnt the original artists, but you have to closely listen to the singer to realize that. You would never figure it out by the music alone, its spot on
If your into stuff like this, I command you to pick it up. Its that good |
