no, that doesnt sound right
Demons, talking in the biblical sense here, are basically designed to screw with, corrupt and basically lead humans astray
what better place to do this than politics? :D |

| thing is, otherwise the town council is useless, and might as well be the villagers. I was trying to think of how to amke it so that they were more like masons. and CoolJoe, the demon is killed.there ius no turning a wolf into a human this game, although it is a neat concept. |

The Town Council isn't meant to replicate Masons - although they do start in a "Masonic" position.
With the power to recruit additional council members, plus the chances of an existing council member being converted to one side or other, the idea of the council is two-fold:-
1 - To offer the possibility of becoming a powerful factor for the village (or indeed the demons) depending on the skill of the players in manipulating the position
2 - To add to the general paranoia!
Demons can be targeted, either wittingly or otherwise, by the Bishops conversion ability, although with a small (35%) chance of success. The result of successfully targeting a demon in such a way would be an impromptu exorcism, with the demon killing it's human host.
The game concept needs a rewrite for clarity if their is sufficient interest in it, but as I sense a desire to stick to more basic TWGs for the time being I have put the concept on the back burner. If people want to give it a go at some point then I'll polish it up ready for play. |

| I still dont understand what the purpose of the town council is. Since it can contain a mixture of good-guys and bad-guys, you cannot trust any of your fellow members. |

LOL. Yeah...
But it seems to me that the only purpose of the Town Council in this game is to vote in more members. Other than that, they have no purpose. |

| if the members if the council know who the seer is and then admit only nown humans, then they are a voting block which has one hell of a lot of power. especially if they recruit the seer/s |

No. Because town council members can be converted. Therefore, you can never be sure they are all human.
Also, you can have a voting block without setting up this artificial group within the game. The group itself serves no purpose that could not be done by simply choosing your friends wisely. |

| Nope. A council member is like any other villager in the above rules. |
