What is your favorite game? It can be a computer game, a game on a video game system, a board game, any game!

I have a Prussia's Glory board game that I've had since Christmas. But I've never been able to understand the rules. And I am also playing against myself.

Are you talking about flight simulators? Fs2000?

I do have '00, '02, and '04 versions (but it's my old man who's playing them).

Come to think of it, I don't really know the game. Especially because I don't have siblings.

Is it like tagging open one's presents during christmas morning?

It is a pretty simple game involving units of different ranks. You are essentually trying to find the enemy flag and win the battle. Two good players can make the game fun and challenging.

You should be able to find it easily at almost any store like Target or Walmart.

Oh no, sry :( . But maybe that game is also called this. The Christmas Game is a board game that is kinda like Monopoly. Of course, you are to play it only in December. There are different cards, Santa, Rudolph, and Scrouge. Land on there face and youy pick there card and do as it says. Santa's will always be good, Rudolph's will be good or bad, and Scrouge's will always be bad. It is a real fun game and there is a lot more to it. Like I said, not many people may know about it since itis an old game. I think my Mom got it like 15 years ago or so.

Not entirly. While Risk is a game about a world at war Stratego is more like one battle from the Napolenonic area.

You have multiple units from Scouts to Marshalls ranked from 9-1. The lower the number the stronger the unit. So if a Marshall runs into a Scout the Scout is killed. The only unit that kills the Marshall is the spy which is killed by all other units. There are also bombs which you can place which can only be destroyed the the 8, the Miner.

You can get some information on the game at this website:

Ok, you know we have a game discussion board, right?

So here's the plan. I'm moving this thread there when one of three things happen.

1) It devolves into a long chat about one game.

2) It begins to float down the index page.

3) One week passes.

As long as you are using it as a way to simply define each other's interests and not really discussing the games, short of a very brief explanation, then it can stay in the chat area for a little while.

Please make a habit to learn our forum and its many boards. This will keep them active and useful. Thank you.

Games? I'm kinda partial to Red Rover, it can get brutal when a bunch of bored 15-17 year olds play it. PomPom Polaway is fun too.

Handball is a good game, but I suck badly at it.

When will people remember that not all games require an OS?

I like card games like Cinch and Euchre (hi, Brf!). When my generation gets together at family things, we play Rummy Joke (also called Rummi-Cube). We've played it for years.

For board games there's chess, backgammon, Monopoly, but I'll give most a try.

I'm not too into computer games, I'm a pacifist at heart and too many computer games are based on killing others.

Yes, I don't like killing games. I don't play them.
