Just curious if anyone has seen the previews for this game, it's a Star Wars RTS game, looks really awsome, fights in both space and ground, you take over planets. Just looked really asome curious if anyone else saw it.

I saw those previews, looked really cool. Like how the troops carried over from planet to planet, so a capital-level starship (or whatever the biggest one is) is worth a lot to your future campaigns.

well I got this thing, and like most hit games Expansion already in the works, if anyone has tried this game tell me, i'd be very intrested in someone elses thoughts.

I played it a little bit, seemed too much like any other RTS.

I'll stick to Battlefront and KOTOR. I played Battlefront after playing EAW and it felt weird playing in a similar battle on foot what I had just commanded.

I don't feel EAW was meant to change the world of RTS, just the world of SW RTS's. It is diffrent than most, or even all SW RTS's... some may say that isn't good, but I like it for a SW game, and the new Expansions looks to add many more aspects that they foolishly left out.

I recently got the Epansion pack that came out this month, so far very much improving on many aspects of the orignal. Granted it only expandes with the "Corrupt" side which means the pirates more or less now get a side, but the game gives them a huge campaign but doesn't give Empire or Rebellion any extended campaign. Though it does let you play in Galatic Conquest mode with those guys and get the new ships, which are very cool to play with.
