Two very important points:
1) Before you ever make your first or next post here and you haven't thoroughly read the Warning announcement thread then stop and do it now. Now! This area has been fairly peaceable with it in place already, but first timers like to glaze over those notes when a subject that interests them pops up and they wish to comment. Do not ever let me see you post that you didn't know or understand the rules in the Warning announcement. That only will add to your offense if you go afoul of the careful rules here.
2) Stories evolve over time. Fresh news arrives all the time. But it may have been already discussed here in this board. Do not start a fresh thread to post fresh news on an existing topic. Think you have something new? Check the pages here first. Use the old thread and add onto it. Make the topic title clear about the subject and make the title name as broad as the discussion might evolve over time. Think of each of these debate threads as archives on a broad topic.
The debate board works differently than other boards here.
Be sure to pay attention to the unique customs here. |
