All right, I was wandering around borders three days ago and stumbled across this book
I was looking for something wierd, and since I've already read too many of HP Lovecraft's stories to warrent buying a complilation, I decided to wander in search of that hidden gem
I found the book sitting with others with a huge sticker saying "buy three get the fourth free!"
I read the back and was intrigued
heres a quick summary of the beginning of the story:
there are two "good old boys" driving in the desert. One happens to be a werewolf, while one happens to be a vampire. They come across a diner and the owner pays them $100 to fend off some zombies, and dig a ditch for a new gas line. Now without giving too much away, the book also includes:
a 17 year old witch
elder gods
a ghost who falls in love
a haunted mini gold course
a magic 8 ball that loves bonanza
If you like horror at all or are looking for a funny book, I highly recommend this, its the only book I've read in two days
barring this one time I had to read an entire book in one night and write as report for school the next day
and how could you not like a book that has the caption:
"now serving Armageddon with a side of fries" |
