Lenny Henry's complete Chef series - one of the finest modern "Britcoms" - will at long last be available in August.
For years, only the first six episodes were available on VHS, and if you wanted the whole series you had to be lucky enough to tape the rare occasions when it aired on cable.
I wonder if the BBC got tired of being bombarded with petitions to release the series, or if they decided to cash in on the success of the "Hell's Kitchen" reality show. |
