One of my most favorite subjects is military discussion and history.

I also love to pontificate on the topic, so civilian type are more than welcome to join in or start topics as I'm sure to give you far more information than you really wanted. :wink:

This subject material is naturally controversial. Unlike other boards where I insist you take heated discussions to the debate board, I will permit military arguments to remain here. There is one caveat to that. Too much discussion of the political side of a current war will be moved. That's only for current conflicts. War is political by its very nature and no serious discussion of past conflicts is really complete without the political aspect.

This will be an all-encompassing board in order to keep the forum index from being clogged with slow boards on discrete parts of global history. If it's war or military related then this is the place.

Members are also more than welcome to post their own dissertations here on the subject matter. Alternate history is welcome too. The staff will be happy to assist you in proof-reading and securing your document so that you can use multiple posts to complete the project without other members interupting the project with posts.
