A company which several members are familiar with, from their days of posting at RepRev, has announced that it is winding down its operations after the cancellation of a key title (I am assuming Evil Genius 2).
Jon is understandably upset, though I'm sure with his skills, he should find another job quickly.
Disapointing when these small, innovative developers get squeezed because they are not making a WW2 FPS.

It's the nature of small business.
They have to be innovative in the face of corporate giants.
Some will die off and other new ones will replace them.
Some will influence the industry significantly, though innovation, and become either large themselves or be absorbed into a big company through purchase. |
