Here's the spot for discussing those TV shows that are utterly stupid, yet still strangely entertaining if you hit them at the exact right time and in the exact right mood.
For example ... MXC.
This has to be one of the top 100 stupidest shows ever on television ... yet tonight it is striking me as strangely entertaining. Is my mind absolutely dead? |

MXC (I assume Most Extreme Elimination Challenge) is the only decent thing on Spike TV.
And it's decent, not worth watching (this is coming from someone who watchers World's Strongest Man.)
There's alot of Shows I hate, due to their stupidity.
Mad TV
American Idol
Simple Life
Whichever surviver is on
Goes on, and on, and on, and on... |

I hate the WWF.
Actually going might be fun, but on TV I hate it. |

Bad TV... that's a topic that could surpass the What!?! thread. :D
For now I'll just mention those nanny shows. I can't believe people who are dumb enough to raise brats would be smart enough to get selected for help. |

Fear Factor, how did I forget that?
The stunts aren't all bad. Alot of them look pretty fun actually.
It's just the nasty stuff that they make people eat, and the fact that people are sacrificing their digninty for money.
And those nanny shows.
First off I don't agree on their position on Corperal punishment.
Second off, some of these parents are the stupidist folks I've seen. |

I have always thought the WWF was the stupidest. I watched it as entertainment when I was a teenager.... until I saw one "wrestler" miss his queue. One guy was laying on the mat, waiting to be pinned, and the other guy was stupidly standing there, wondering what he was supposed to do next. The guy on the mat kept signaling him with the "come-on" signal, until the palpable lightbulb lit and the idiot ended the "fight".
I once saw one of the original WWF shows in black-and-white.... complete with comical sound effects... like cowbells ringing when someone was hit. At least then it was more realistic. |

WWF (I refuse to call it WWE) is pretty much a soap opera, with Wrastlin'.
Plain, and simple. |
