| i'm creating a new tropico scenario, you are fidel catro, and you have arrived on a new island. the challenge is, there isn't enough workers on the island, and if you don't fill all the buildings AND any buildings you place, you lose. i am wondering if anyone likes the idea? |

Sure, go for it.
Honestly, the theme is less important than the delivery.
I've played tons of scenarios over the years and only a few were truly unique in the concept. Of those few, most didn't deliver the challenge. But what always hooked me was the challenge. And I've played many scenarios with average themes that I've loved because they were beatable, but just barely.
So after you design the basic scenario, be sure to run it several times and tweak it to get that sweet spot in the challenge factor.
Just be sure to zip it before posting it here.
In time I will add it to our scenario gallery that we will be adding soon. |

| well, i'll try to make it challenging then. one point- i don't have the expansion, so don't expect any random events. but i could probably put the political and economic difficulty on their hardest... |

You might have a hard time filling the workplaces 100%, especially with females becoming mothers and leaving their jobs for months at a time. People die right-and-left too.
If you build a factory or a college, you will not be able to fill all of the positions until you have imported all the workers... You will not have people going to school unless those positions are empty and waiting for them. You might be better off just checking the workplaces that can be filled with uneducated labor. |

| maybe, but it makes it more of a challenge, especiaslly as i don't provide a dock, and i might under-staff the construction office... |

| How do you plan on filling the positions without immigration? |

| i wish to announce that i have the basic map done, and i decided to put a dock in after all. although iu did put on many farmers and soldiers and terachers and engineersa and professors, that is intentional, they are the styarting population to take jobs. note- if you play this scenario, i advise you to get more mindustrry up. i have provided the fuyll chain for furniture production, butr you'll need to put in a teamster office, i forgot to put one in. also, you'll want mining. |
