So everyone has seen endless footage of WW2, Vietnam, and the Iraq wars.

So what was it like for me in Beruit?

Here's another photo digest and covers the fact the we had a whole soup of forces there. Jarheads, Italians, French Foreign Legion, Brits. Of course that was to illustrate we could be just as stupid as the Druze, PLO, Hezbollah, Israelis, Phalangists, Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Syrians, and Maronites. Toss in roaming packs of armed teenage thugs who loved no one and we had a real swell time trying to keep track of the playlist every day.
