Time for a new thread where we can shout out if we see a new movie coming that looks good. It won't be for reviews of movies already out. Just those we see previews for that grab our attention.
First up is The Golden Compass. 12/07/2007

It is a high fantasy movie with what looks like amazing special effects about a parallel Earth based on Phillip Pullman's books. It stars Nicole Kidman and Daniel Graig, the guy who just became the new James Bond. I believe this will actually be a serial movie format with 2 more episodes.

Based off the famously popular videogame about a genetically boosted assassin who was a solitary and extremely lethal perfectionist with a heart of stone. But a mysterious Russian woman awakes his passion and conscience. This the story of this unexpected turn in his life.
Both look to be visual feasts that would be better seen on the big screen rather than on home video. |
