Sometime between moving out of the dorm last year and moving into my apartment this year, I happened to loose a book of CDs and DVDs. This had the majority of my movies, PS2 games and computer games...
Heres my request: With the exception of a few games that are older than my first computer (ie, Doom and Red alert 2), I dont' have any of the CDs to play the games installed on my computer.
What I'm asking for is a reliable, safe website that offers CD cracks, for some older (Theme Hospital, which for the record, I have the CD. The computer flat out does not recognize it anymore), and some newer games that allow me to play the game without the CD.
The games were purchased legally, with my own money. They are not friends copies, not torrents. |

Almost an oxymoron there. Cracks and warez tend to come from the more notorious types. You'd do better for a priority trait being effectiveness over safety. The more successful hackers have a certain amount of prestige that keeps them from loading their warez with crap.
My nephew tells me the best cracks can be found on Russian sites. |

I know, I know. I could just go to Warez.com or Google and try to find one there, but that would be like wandering into a red light district at night.
And nothing against the nation of Russia, I flat out do not trust websites that end in .ru |

the problem with those sites with .ru is that you must know russian for real ones... those ones that are translated to english are no problems finding on warez or astalavista.box.sk.
anyway im sorry i dont play games so cant really help on this matter |

| I don't typically look for no cd cracks, found a couple when some cd's of mine went bad, but in general havn't gone searching the net for one, and last time I did I found a trojan that made me reformat my entire hardrive. |

Although I am much on the shadier side, (I very rarely buy games anymore, or play, or even pirate for that matter) it is nice to hear that you are supporting the companies that make good games.
Now past the legal part, keygen.us is a good crack site, but make sure to clear cookies and run adaware afterwards. I've almost never had a virus from that site, but ad ware ... well that's a different story all together. email.cracks.am is also a good one; less stuff, but also less chance of spy/ad ware.
Quite frankly, downloading a new version with a key might be easier. Most torrents (I like mininova.org and isohunt.com) are pretty good at providing keygens and no-cd cracks included (along with changing the code of the game so that you can play online with a, how do I say, less than legit cd key).
It's pretty easy to find old and new games online and, like I said, it might prove easier to just download the game.
Hope that helps. And I do encourage people to support good games/movies/software. It's just a shame that there is such crap put out there these days. Downloading a game to test and make sure you like it and it doesn't suck is one thing, but if you like it, buying it is a nice way to help a programmer out.
If this doesn't make you want to throw away pirated games and buy legit forever I don't know what will http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4Wy7gRGgeA . |
