| There is also a combined T1 and T2 gold edition on the market that is probably still currently orderable through your store. Almost every game store will order games for you, providing they are still in distribution. |

| I doubt you will find a copy of PI, since it was superceded by Mucho Macho. Like I said, Mucho Macho is only about $10 right now. |

You can buy Tropico because there is a quanity of old stock still around. It was reprinted several times. PI was a limited release xpac made in much fewer quanties. All were sold out. You simply cannot buy PI except at resale sites.
Even Mucho Macho is hard to find and may not be available anymore.
But the combined T1 and T2 multipack is still available.
That really is your only option these days if you want an unused copy.
I purchased a copy of the combined pack in November for $20. |

I'm refering to retailers.
All the national retail chains and computer retailers have locations in my city.
And all of them told me over a year ago that they cannot get PI in any more.
You simply can't get PI through a brick and mortar retailer in the US at all.
But since you have an option with Take Two then I highly recommend pursuing that route. |

We won't say anything if you play T2, but we don't run contests on T2 as you are now inside the Tropico Purist's Society.
No pirate games here. :P |

Why no pirate games?
I do have the original Tropican game. |

T2 is a weak sister of the original and is probably why the game died an untimely death.
We didn't say you can't play it. It's your game, after all. We just won't run contests on it. |
