Chavez had better watch his step.
The US may not actually take sides, but you can bet we'd sell Colombia anything they want. We could also supply stuff for free under the umbrella of narco-suppression.
I personally am no fan of Chavez for obvious reasons, but he is democratically elected.
So the US had better not help start a war with him.
But seeing him get knocked down a peg or two might be rather sweet to see.
The Venezuelan army might find messing with those narco-hunter commandos from Columbia a bit more than they expected to bite at. |

The dispute has now become a machismo thing...between the two El Presidentes.
