Not sure how many pay attention to this group, but there new CD is worth a glimpse at. RHCP have changed there style many times over there career, and the 2 CD Stadium Arcadium is one of there more unique changes.
While the CD has many of the styles that made RHCP a popular group such as the funk rock, the CD is employing new styles often left out by RHCP.
The CD starts out with a ditty called Dani California, which is probably one of the songs most similar to there, other styles. After that, though the CD goes to a soft rock style and does not stop changing from song to song afterwards.
For some this may not be good, you may want consistency, I like the uniqueness of each song. While many of the songs have similar feel to each other, using funk aspects like Torture me or Hump de Hump, you can immediate tell differences in each song.
Well I just though I would write on this, because the CD has impressed me greatly for RHCP and I greatly enjoyed there style on this 2-disc album. |
