Since I cant reply in the announcementsthread, I'll have to ask here..
A TWG-ticket costs 100 TWGbucks. Does that mean that if you dont have those 100 TWGb's, you cant play? Cause that kindof sucks... |

| I see Georgie has one for sale for only 4 JJBucks. I am sure that everyone who needs a ticket will get one one way or the other |

| I was against the tickets to begin with, still am, find them quite pointless. I mean what if you can't find a way to get one unless someone gives you one? That means certain players new to the game may not get to play... but I stated about this long ago. |

| well, a few decent posts should be enouhg to get the teg bucks needed, you only need 200 JJbucks then convert. and that is easily done ( a funny news story is about 80-90 JJbucks, sometimes more) |

You cannot use a TWG ticket unless the GM has turned on signup on the TWG status page. Try to use one right now and see....
Exar, dont worry about people not being able to play.... this is just a means to get the GM the cash to use as rewards. It also adds the player to the Alive group, saving the GM one step. |

And what? The permanent list has always been a tool for the GM to size his game and still will be.
I see the Tickets as a fun addition, not a penalty. |

| wait, so the GM gets TWGbucks from the tickets, which they can then use to give a TWGbuck reward to the winners? |

Exactly. In my testing Srf got the extra 100 TWG bucks... He hasnt paid it back yet :P
Yes. The permanent list players would have to buy a ticket too... otherwise you would have to gift the 100 TWG-Bucks to the GM and the GM would have to go through the bother of adding you to the Alive group.
I setup these tickets as a shortcut to setting up a prize pool and threw in the group-adding to make the GM's job a little easier....
As I said before, if someone wants to play and cannot afford it (especially new players) then we can gift a free ticket or richer players can offer discount tickets in their store as Georgie has already done. |

| i really think its just too much hassle around a game on a site that i like(d?) for its 'no-nonsense' way of getting things done. |

| i'd have thought that the onyl hassle would be making sure the GM didn't spend the prize fund before the rewards are given out. ( actually, does the GM have to split the prize fund between the survivors/winning team, or not? and if not, what happens to the excess TWG-bucks?) |

Well... I meant it is a bit of fun role-playing, not as a hassle.

| so what happens to any excess twg-bucks? they are kept by the GM? well, as long as they aren't stingy with the prizes. maybe the prizes availible should be put in the day 0 thread? |

Well how I feel it as, give away the tickets... if your doing this for a shortcut for the GM. The prize for them, to be honest I find TWG bucks or JJ bucks useless unless your wanting to play in the casino to get your money up, and you don't even need money to play in the casino, just to win more.
If you use it mainly as shortcuts for GM's, give them away, that way this will also stop implosions, only people who are going to go through getting a ticket will most likley be willing to play. |
