| Yes. Your happiness is a little lower, but your cash is higher, so you can afford to lower taxes a little to make up for the happiness hit. |

| I'm at 15% taxes and feeling a little pinched for cash. My infrastructure is costing me an arm and a leg. I also just tested that advice you gave me Brf. My Avg. Gross Income Per Individual Per Day only went up a dollar (franc) or so. |

I don't understand the tax rates in the teen's?
You should be able to start at 23% and work up.
With an Intel Agecy... 28% is the normal tax rate. |

With a population of less than 1k, the best tax-rate should be in the low 20's. |

| Ha. A miscreant attacked me, I had negative soldiers, anarchy, and low personal income.... I fixed the negative soldiers by buying a few extra, the anarchy a couple days ago when I could switch govs back... and now my personal income rose from 50 to over 100 since yesterday... just before I was attacked, I got a harbor and I have been striving to refill my trade slots. I now have all those slots filled, plus steel, fine jewelry, and microchips. With an intel agency and 24% tax rate, my people's happiness is at 25.66. |

heheheh, has everyone become aware of the changes to ranking?
Now you can attack nations that are half your strength... to nations that have twice your strength.
Kevin is definately pushing for more warfare in the game. |

| Let me get something straight here. Does more infrastructure = more population automatically? And does population grow naturally without buying up infrastructure? |

Infrastructure is the main method of increasing population.
Land only grows population by a very, very small amount. |

| My bills are at least 1,500 or more. How do I get that down? Or do I just keep building infrastructure to have more tax payers to balance it out? |

Heh....
My very first traiding partner, a non-team-member dropped yesterday, which luckily didnt affect my bonus resources at all, although I took an income hit from losing the uranium.
I found a team-member to add who had wine and fish, which gave me "Affluent Population" bonus....
My happiness is now at 30.... maybe time to raise taxes again. |

Several days ago, I lost two trading partners on the same day.
I had to hustle like mad... to get new trades.
A decrease of $6.00 per citizen is not good for the economy :P |

Wow, this got quiet.
Quit playing?
Well, let me tell you a story.........
I started a nation about 2 months ago myself actually. Bumbled around stupidly for a month and got to the mediocre ranking of 200. Got plenty of offers to join alliances as I kept myself in no-team status. No one took a shot at me I guess because I kept a nice little army around.
Why didn't I join an alliance? Too damn many with dictators-for-life in charge.
Then a polite young kid mentioned his alliance was totally democratic.
So I checked it out.
These kids truly know how boost your rank and make you bulletproof and wealthy.
I liked their team spirit and egaltarianism so much that I stuck around. Didn't ask for a red cent in freebee aid either. As of today, one month later, I'll be pushing close to 800 strength and will be elected to a Senate seat in a 100 plus member alliance. 8)
Anyone interested in joining us?
We can make you strong. Real strong!
It's a solid alliance with real big alliance allies.
Pm me if you are interested and we'll run a background check on you. |

One of our bretheren here has shown interest and I'm hoping to have him rolling with us in just a short while.
But I noted something when I checked out his country.
Very low strength for his age.
Go multiply your country age in days by 25. That should be your current strength or better. You should be slapping on 700 to 1000 a month minimum.
Otherwise, you aren't doing this right and are meat for the next rogue that gets interested in you.
If you are in an alliance and still not at these numbers then they ain't schoolin' you right.
We can. Just pm me. |

Ready for the next great war?
It's coming soon!
The admins are mucking up the game to give color team senators all the trade and aid controls. This could mean a small alliance general rebellion.
Or could it be the NPO, NpO, and GOONS joining up and trying to troll up an alliance war?
Or could there be an impending socialist and facist conflict brewing?
Actually, all three are heating up right now.
There are also two major alliances (GATO and GGA) just coming out of internal rebellion.
The tension is getting thick and everyone is watching for the first spark.
My alliance is working hard to get our troops ready for for whatever happens.
Will you be in there swinging or sitting in the bleachers watching the radiation count grow?
PM me if you want a ringside seat. :P |
