I still am wondering why anyone would want to play a game where crap like this occurs:

Update 4/1/2007: Cyber Nations will resume game play in a couple of days. The databases are secure and as soon as some updates are made in an effort to reduce update lag the game will be turned back online. Those who wish to continue to attack the game once it is brought back online and those who wish to use stolen source code from the game will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. |

Well to be honest this is this guy's first game, and it's only been open for little over a year. I've known games that have been out for years and had some similear problems when they started. When it's new people want to test it, it's really that simple.
Now the stuff on the forums, I personally have never seen it to that extent, though most of the froums for games I played didn't allow pictures, so a lot of the stuff couldn't have happened anyway.
In the end I still don't know what makes people do this. I mean they don't gain anything in real life, hacking CN won't give you any money, putting kiddy porn on the forums won't make people praise your name around town. Not even people on the internet will praise your name, so I really don't see the point. |

IMO, Kevin and his mods are primarily responsible for the unsavory conditions that exist in CN.
Their blatant bias has poisoned the atmosphere to a point... where people are willing to do anything.
AE has constant wars, but its forum does not degenerate into a cess-pool.
Only a few people act like anal cavities, frequently those that are AC's on CN, but the mods slam them very quickly.
Also, warnings in AE are public knowledge... players know who is a trouble-maker and a ass-hat.
In addition, the size of guilds (i.e. alliances) has a limit in size. |

I do not see the link you are referring to, but, I'm old and stupid :oops: :cheesy:
It does not appear that much has changed.
The spies are new and seem to be a worthwhile addition.
It seems to me that land supports a higher number of citizens, before it starts having a negative effect.
Also, a smaller number of soldiers appear necessary to control the population.
One thing never seems to change... Nazis and Commies going at each other :roll: |

| www.castledoom.com/CN will get you there. you get a chance at high office if you care for one, Juntajoe is giving out regular boosting aid, for which you would likely be a priority, and when you reach 1000 citizen count, you get a harbour from DOOM. |
